Don’t forget to put JOTA in your Calendar for 2024, Hume Region will have JOTA run at Glenfield Scout Activity Centre as a major activity weekend.
We will have several HF Stations running, Digital Radios to be able to communicate around the world without having to worry about band conditions.
We will also have Fox Hunt event in the whole camp area which will be a great ongoing activity all weekend. It is an orienteering and navigation using Amateur Radio to find hidden transmitters.
We can also do Amateur Radio exams should anyone want to sit for a license or upgrade over the weekend.
